SPOTLIGHT

Meet Sasha Costanza-Chock, a researcher, designer and activist who works to support community-led processes that build shared power.

They are an Associate Professor at Northeastern University and serves as the Head of Research & Sensemaking at OneProject.org. They also serve as a Faculty Associate with the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, and are a member of the Steering Committee of the Design Justice Network.

Their book, "Design Justice: Community-Led Practices to Build the Worlds We Need," reimagines how design might be led by marginalized communities. It explicitly aims to challenge, rather than reproduce, structural inequalities. It is freely available at design-justice.pubpub.org.

For a deeper dive into their transformative work and to learn more, visit Sasha's website, the Design Justice Community, and subscribe to the Design Justice Network newsletter.
