As the Mobile Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Givebutter's iOS and Android mobile applications, developing new features based on public feedback, and independently driving projects with an emphasis on cross-team collaboration. Your role will also include managing bugs, overseeing documentation, mentoring team members, and contributing to the improvement of engineering standards, deployment processes, and overall code quality.

React / React-Native Engineer, MANUAL

As a React/React-Native Engineer, you'll lead the development of a greenfield React-Native app and participate in user feedback sessions. Your role includes hiring future engineers, shaping the engineering process and culture, and collaborating on various projects. Ideal candidates should have expertise in React and React Native, a problem-solving approach, a team-player attitude, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

As a Graphic Designer, you'll translate complex UX concepts into clear visualizations, requiring strong visual design skills and some UX knowledge. Your tasks include creating data visualizations, templates for graphs and charts, infographics, book designs, typesetting, and storyboarding. You will be responsible for visually interpreting UX concepts, collaborating with authors, researchers, and other designers, and producing polished designs like icons, infographics, and posters. Additionally, you'll develop visual systems for physical publications.

SPOTLIGHT

Bria Sullivan is the Chief Technology Officer and founder of Honey B Games. She has previously worked as a Program Manager at Microsoft and as a Software Engineer at Google. She has also founded Tech Stack'd, which aims to help non-technical startup founders connect with engineers.

Through Honey B Games, she has released the games Boba Story, Boba Barista Idle, and Milk Tea Mania. In December 2023, she announced that her app had achieved over 10 million downloads, without spending any money on marketing and while still maintaining full ownership of the company!!

Bria talked more about this amazing update with Kelsey Hightower on Twitter Spaces: From SWE to Entrepreneur. They cover various topics including Bria's journey from being a software engineer at Google, her decision to start her own venture, and her personal and professional growth as an entrepreneur.

Bria also shared her insights on creating successful mobile games on the CodeNewbie podcast.
